The Fire Bender Sherlock

This heady Sherlock pipe is probably bigger than it appears to be in the images. It contains smoldering hot red, molten orange and pitch black color. These colors were formed using the coil potting technique, meaning that virtually all of the glass is solid color which, while a costly and very time consuming technique, it gives the piece a vibrancy of full, rich color that is unmatched as well as a winding, zigzagging pattern that you can't attain any other way. 5 large clear magnifiers were added to the side in progressively larger sizes. Measures 6.5 inches long and weighs 169 grams. The bowl itself measures 1.25 inches across and about 1 inch deep.
